- Complete PSY 300: Psychological Research and Statistical Methods I during Fall semester & PSY 301; Psychological Research and Statistical Methods II during Spring semester.
- Consider taking PSY 490 special topics courses to explore unique areas in Psychology. Example topics include: Careers in Psychology.
- Get to know the Psychology faculty and their research areas so you can join in their research after finishing PSY 301.
- Explore internship opportunities. You may receive course credit through PSY 492.
- Meet w/ Graduate Studies Center

- Present your PSY 301 project at the annual Psychology Program Poster Session
- Research career options and graduate school options
- If graduate school is an option, make a list of possible programs, application deadlines and application requirements
- Study for the GRE and take the GRE during the summer if it is required for graduate school application
- Discuss independent study research opportunities with Psychology faculty.
