IMPORTANT!
Cal State Channel Islands scholarship application deadline has been extended for the 2025-2026 aid. The deadline is April 2, 2025.
Scholarships are types of aid that do not need to be repaid. They are designed to recognize, incentivize, and aid students in pursuing academic excellence and leadership roles. Scholarships are merit-based, need-based, or non-need-based and can cover partial or full costs associated with a college education. Obtaining scholarships can significantly mitigate the need for student loans and decrease the necessity for employment while accessing additional funds for college.
In the selection process, supplementary criteria such as campus or community activities, volunteer work, work experience, and financial need are considered. The Scholarship Application is available annually from October 1st to March 2nd (deadline has been extended to April 2). To be considered for scholarship opportunities, applicants must log in to the portal and complete their profile.
As a continuing student, it is crucial to seek out scholarships to help reduce the amount of work and borrowing required to finance one's education. New opportunities may arise as students enter their major, start new activities, or join college organizations. We encourage students to expand their scholarship search to include outside and º£½ÇÉçÇøCI scholarships.
