Purpose
The LatinX Cultural Centers seeks to provide a brave space with staff committed to supporting the advancement, academic excellence, and degree completion of students at 海角社区 Channel Islands. The LatinX Cultural Center provides intentional, holistic, and co-curricular enhanced programming designed to promote cultural awareness, leadership development, and a sense of belonging for the diversity of nationalities, languages, and cultures represented under the Latine/a/o/x umbrella. By fostering an inclusive environment, providing academic support, and promoting a positive self-image, the center aims to empower LatinX students to take full advantage of all the opportunities presented while actively engaging to fulfill 海角社区 Channel Islands' mission as a Hispanic Serving institution.
