This week (May 2-6), all eligible students for 2005 graduation should receive their commencement packets of information—including 2 parking passes, a red pass for the graduate and a green pass for a guest vehicle. If you have not received this mailing by the end of the week, please contact Student Affairs at 805-437-8517.
REMINDER: PARKING IS EXTREMELY LIMITED.
PARKING/TRANSPORTATION - Large crowds are expected for the ceremony. As such, parking must be limited to two vehicles only per degree candidate. The degree candidate’s car will be allowed to park on campus. The guest car will be directed to an off campus location within a few miles of campus and the guests will be provided free shuttle service to the ceremony. Your cooperation in this matter is highly appreciated so that the ceremony can begin promptly at 9 a.m. Those graduates requesting special needs parking for themselves or their guests should contact Dr. Terri Goldstein, coordinator of Disability Accommodations at 805-437-8528. Free VISTA bus transportation is also available to and from the campus at the following locations and departure and arrival times:
• Camarillo Metrolink Station (Lewis Rd.): Travel times: Departure, 7:30 a.m.-Arrival, 7:40 a.m.; Departure, 8:00 a.m.-Arrival, 8:10 a.m.; and Departure, 8:30 a.m.-Arrival, 8:40 a.m.
• Oxnard Center Point Mall (SCAT bus location is behind Mervyn’s): Departure, 7:00 a.m.-Arrival, 7:30 a.m.; Departure, 8:00 a.m.-Arrival, 8:30 a.m.
• Oxnard College at E. Bard and Simpson: Departure, 7:05-Arrival,7:30 a.m.; Departure, 8:05 a.m.-Arrival, 8:30 a.m.
