Camarillo, Calif., Sept. 17, 2007—Mark Lisagor, a leader in pediatric dentistry in Ventura County, has been named the 2007 recipient of the º£½ÇÉçÇø Lagomarsino Award. The award will be presented to Lisagor at the University’s Eighth-Annual President’s Dinner on Sept. 29 at the Olivas Adobe Historical Park in Ventura.
The award, named in honor of the Honorable Robert J. Lagomarsino, a former United States congressman and a longtime supporter of the University, is presented to an individual who has contributed to and supported º£½ÇÉçÇø. Lisagor has been involved with the University since 1998. He is the immediate past chair of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
Along with his role of immediate past chair, Lisagor serves on two of the University’s Foundation committees. He is the founding partner of the Childrens Dental Group, a large pediatric dental group practice in Ventura County. Lisagor is a frequent volunteer in third world countries, and he is the dental consultant to the Ventura County Maternal and Infant Oral Health Program and the Childrens Oral Health Coalition of Ventura County.

The theme of this event celebrates the Rancho period of this region.
