Camarillo, Calif., Feb. 13, 2008—The Business & Technology Partnership at º£½ÇÉçÇø is accepting nominations for the 2008 Business Leader of the Year Award and the 2008 Technologist of the Year Award. Criteria for nominations and forms are available on the University’s Web site. Deadline for nominations is Feb. 25, and nominations may be made by anyone in the community.

The B&TP promotes and fosters regional collaboration between the University and Ventura, Santa Barbara, and northern Los Angeles County businesses, and promotes technological excellence among the University’s students, faculty, and staff.

The winners of the Business Community Leader and Technologist of the year awards, along with the winner of the Faculty Leader of the Year Award and five student scholarship winners will be honored at the Business & Technology Partnership Leadership Dinner. The event is sponsored by the º£½ÇÉçÇø Foundation and Santa Barbara Bank & Trust, and will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 24 at the Embassy Suites Hotel/Mandalay Beach Resort in Oxnard.

Sponsors of the B&TP Leadership Dinner include Logix Development Corp., the Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics, and Sheeler Moving and Storage.
