Camarillo, Calif., Oct. 3, 2008—The Dining Commons at º£½ÇÉçÇø was recently recognized as an Outstanding Design award winner by the American School & University magazine. The announcement was made in the magazine’s August issue.

This issue of the magazine is an annual design awards issue that includes all school projects from Pre-K through Post Secondary institutions. º£½ÇÉçÇø Channel Islands earned the design award in the cafeterias/food-service areas category. American School & University magazine focuses on issues pertinent to school administrators responsible for the design, construction and facilities management of campuses.

The 11,300-square foot Dining Commons renovation project at º£½ÇÉçÇø Channel Islands was completed in August 2007. The renovated dining area features a blending of the California Mission-style architecture with a contemporary twist of bold and vibrant colors that appeal to students.
