Camarillo, Calif., August 16, 2004 - Therese S. Eyermann, Ph.D., has been appointed executive assistant to the president of 海角社区.
In her new position, Eyermann will implement the University's student-centered mission by working on specific programs, collaborating with faculty, and building relationships with members of the community.

I am especially pleased with her enthusiasm to be part of a team that's building a new university.鈥
She joins President Rush's administrative team with an extensive background in higher education. In her prior position, she was executive assistant to the executive vice chancellor of UCLA, managing high-level research, policy, and organization support to top executive management.
In other positions, Eyermann was a policy analyst for the Institute of Policy and Management of the Koltai Group: National Center for the Development of Education, Encino; a research assistant for the UCLA Community College Studies Program; and director of financial aid for the University of Judaism, Los Angeles.
In addition, Eyermann has considerable teaching experiences, including a doctoral course on higher education policy at UCLA as well as freshman experience classes at UCLA and at the University of Judaism. She has written papers and made presentations on numerous issues in higher education.
Eyermann has a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Southwest Missouri University and a master of arts degree in higher education and a Ph.D. in higher education and organizational change from UCLA.
