Camarillo, Calif., May 26, 2005 - º£½ÇÉçÇø will present the Class of 2004 at its commencement ceremony, Saturday, May 29, beginning at 9 a.m. on the South Quad of the campus. >

The event, which is expected to attract approximately 6,500 people, is the second for the University but the first one featuring a large-scale graduating class. The featured speaker for the event will be Richard P. West, executive vice chancellor and chief financial officer for the California State University system.

Overall, approximately 900 students will be graduating this year: 328 from º£½ÇÉçÇø; 555 from California State University Northridge at Channel Islands; and 17 master's degree students from California State University Long Beach. About 500 of these are expected to participate in the commencement ceremonies.

Because of the size of the expected audience, attendees are asked to come as early as possible and to ride-share or use public transportation if possible to reduce the volume of traffic on campus. For those driving, signs will indicate parking areas. Shuttles will be provided to the South Quad area.
