Fox has a doctorate degree in zoology and has taught zoology, biology, marine sciences, and environmental studies at Ventura College, and led classes throughout the world.

鈥淪age to Stage: Applying Theater Techniques to Present Life Stories鈥 will meet at the Ojai Center for the Arts, 113 S. The instructor is Gai Jones, master of arts in theater. She has taught theater and national workshops for 40 years, and is presently a director at the Ojai Playhouse.

The OLLI program is intended for seniors over 50, but for the Ojai courses enrollment of those under the age of 50 will be permitted if class space is available on or after April 2.

Detailed flyers about both courses are available at the Little House and the Ojai Center. More information is available at , or by calling OLLI at 805-437-2748. These courses are free to OLLI members, and non-members may enroll for a fee of $65 for one course. To enroll in both courses, seniors may become full OLLI members for the spring fee of $125, which entitles members to unlimited course enrollment. Other courses will also be held in Ventura on Mondays and on the campus of 海角社区 in Camarillo on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, beginning the week of April 2.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute offers classes for area residents age 50 and over. OLLI has held intellectually stimulating classes for area seniors since the fall of 2004 at the 海角社区 campus in Camarillo. These six to eight week classes provide college-level courses in many academic areas without the burden of grades, tests, and earning college degrees. Courses expand intellectual horizons for adults who wish to experience a variety of topics without preparing for careers.
