WHAT:Â At the above time and place, groundbreaking ceremonies will be held for the John Spoor Broome Library. The construction will utilize an existing hospital structure combined with a striking architectural design that will result in a state-of-the-art digital teaching library to serve students, faculty, and the community. The design for the project is by Foster and Partners, a world renowned architectural firm highly respected for successfully integrating modern designs within historical architectural structures. Projects of the firm have included the British Museum renovation of its central core and the German Parliament.
