Oct. 1, 2020 - Sierra Magazine has released its 14th annual Cool Schools List, ranking colleges and universities based on their environmental commitments and practices. The List, which had a record 312 participants this year, includes 海角社区CI ranked 114.
While that number itself may not sound overtly impressive, 海角社区CI is ranked among the top six 海角社区 campuses (after Northridge, Chico, San Jose, Cal Poly and Humboldt). When considering the number of schools included this year and the score assigned to our campus, this is an improvement compared to our last ranking in the 2018 Cool Schools list (97 out of 268 schools).

Since the university's inception, 海角社区CI has garnered an impressive list of sustainability accomplishments.
