Medication Abortion (MAB) is a safe and effective method for ending an early pregnancy. Also referred to as the "abortion pill," MAB involves a drug regimen using two different medicines. If you are a CI student seeking MAB, please make an appointment with us to discuss more about your options:
1. º£½ÇÉçÇø Channel Islands & º£½ÇÉçÇø Northridge Partnership (Recommended)
- Requires a referral from CI Student Health Services, then a physical visit to º£½ÇÉçÇø
Northridge campus.
- Uber gift cards available for transportation assistance.
- Must pre-pay $85.50 for medication and $7.50 for pregnancy test, if needed (cost is subject to change at any time).
- Must bring º£½ÇÉçÇøCI Dolphin ID card to appointment.
- Pregnancy counselor available to discuss other options.
2. (Oxnard)
- Offers MAB by mail (telehealth) or in-office.
- Must be less than 9 weeks pregnant for mail option, or 10 weeks for in-office option.
- Accepts most insurances, including Medi-Cal.
- Competitive cash rates for patients without insurance.
- May be eligible for services at no-cost if you meet specific qualifications.

- Telehealth not offered.
- Offers MAB through 10 weeks from the first day of your last period.
- May be free or low-cost depending on health insurance plans.
