Our office is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and accessible environment for all members of our community. The Title IX & Inclusion Office is responsible for the University's compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and º£½ÇÉçÇø system policies and procedures regarding discrimination, harassment based on protected status, sexual misconduct, retaliation, and failure to provide reasonable ADA accommodations.

We do this by ensuring that all programs and activities at º£½ÇÉçÇø Channel Islands are free from sex, gender-based discrimination, and discrimination, harassment based on protected status.  This applies to all academic, educational, extracurricular, and athletic activities (both on and off campus). 

In order to do this, the work of Title IX & Inclusion staff is divided in three areas.

Education & Training

  • All new employees (upon hire)

  • All employees (annual)
  • All students (annual)
  • Resident Advisors (twice a year)
  • Orientation Leaders (annually)

Addressing Reports & Formal Complaints

The Title IX and Inclusion Office is responsible for responding to all reports received of possible violations of the , providing reporting options, interim supportive measures, and campus resources. 

Prevention & Awareness
