The starter kit includes:
- A start here (orientation) module to help you familiarize students with your course
- A Syllabus page with accordion menus to provide students with 鈥渁t a glance鈥 access to key information and campus resources
- A module with a variety of page types you can pick and choose from (i.e. keep, delete, duplicate, revise, etc.) to fit your instructional approach.

Bilingual Course Starter Kits
With the goal of uplifting Latine students鈥 primary language, we have two bilingual Canvas course starter kits that you can import and customize based on your instructional approach.
Simultaneous Course Kit
In the simultaneous kit, course banners, major headings, and general directions in the Canvas modules are in both English and Spanish (side by side). The English text is in black, and the Spanish text is in dark red. All instructors, including those that may not speak Spanish, can utilize them in any course.
Sequential Course Kit
In the sequential kit, the Spanish is separate from the English. In this way, the English is easily deleted, so only the Spanish appears.This kit was designed for use in courses that are taught completely in Spanish, such as courses in the Spanish and Global Studies Departments and courses in the that help teacher candidates meet the requirements for the .
