Academic Advising

Students who are looking to apply for Reinstatement should meet with an Academic Advisor. Please call or visit the Advising Center to schedule an appointment.

Open University

To be considered for reinstatement, students must demonstrate academic ability by taking classes at CI through Open University to raise their GPA to a 2.0. While students may take classes at other institutions only classes taken at CI will help increase the CI GPA.

Term Withdrawals

Students needing to drop all classes may submit a Term Withdrawal Form, no later than 30 days after the end of the semester in which the withdrawal is requested. Students will need to obtain instructor and program chair signatures, and submit the form along with supporting documentation to the Registrar's Office.
