- Connecting to CDAE - Optimize student success by learning about services available to you through the 海角社区CI Career Center. Includes an overview of Dolphin Career Link, Dolphin Connect, and upcoming events (15-minute video or 15-minute live Zoom)
- Career Exploration - Focus2 - Explore 海角社区CI鈥檚 online career assessment tool to assist you in exploring you major and career choices. Use Focus2 to assess your interests, values, skills, and personality resulting in a list of careers and majors for future exploration. (15-30 minute live facilitation; )
- Design Your Life - Based on the book Designing Your Life by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans from Stanford. This workshop will help students explore what motivates and creates energy while learning techniques to apply design thinking to the process of designing and building life and career. (45 min live facilitation)
- Resume/Cover Letter Writing - Learn the essentials of how to write a resume and cover letter that get you noticed. ( or 15-minute Career Counselor Q&A)
- Interviewing with Confidence - Learn about different types of interviews and strategies to respond to questions and best demonstrate your knowledge and qualifications for the position you want. (15-30 min live facilitation)
- Networking Like a Pro - 80% of available jobs are not advertised! Find out how to access the 鈥渉idden job market鈥� through strategic communication with professionals and the use of LinkedIn, Dolphin Connect, and Dolphin Career Link. (Pre-recorded video or live facilitation)
- Getting Started with LinkedIn - Create an effective profile, add connections and explore unique features. (15 min video or Counselor Q&A)
- Career Fair Success - Explore our ! We have videos featuring tips and ways to make your career fair experience successful for networking and searching for jobs and internships. (15 or 30 min)
- MBTI assessment and interpretation - This opportunity to explore your 4 letter Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is available for 海角社区CI classes, offices, and departments for understanding natural preferences, team building, and communication styles.
