COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave for 2022
海角社区 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave (SPSL) is available for all represented and non-represented employees who are unable to work or telework due to COVID-19 related reasons. The program provides up to 80 hours (10 days) of supplemental paid sick leave (see requirements below), pro-rated based upon FTE, for all currently active employees from January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022.

Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) - expired 12/31/2020

- Emergency Family & Medical Leave Expansion (EFMLEA)
The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) requires certain employers to provide their employees with paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. The U.S. Department of Labor鈥檚 Wage and Hour Division (WHD) has the authority to investigate and enforce compliance with the FFCRA.
Student employment serves not only as a chance for professional development, but also provides financial support toward school, housing, and day-to-day expenses.

Staff/Faculty who would like to request to telecommute should first read the Telecommuting Policy with their appropriate administrator. The appropriate administrator will review the request and once approved, will聽 submit the Telecommuting Agreement to Human Resources at聽hr.forms@csuci.edu.听
