- Educate yourself on the history of disability rights, the different types of disabilities, and how you can be an ally.
- Visit the to learn how this organization supports people with non-visible disabilities globally.
- Show your commitment to making people with disabilities feel seen and valued by displaying
a Disability Pride Flag or Hidden Disabilities Sunflower in your space. Here's how:
- Pick up Disability Pride Flags or Stickers from DASS
- Take action every day to include peers with disabilities, creating safe environments for them, and continuing to seek more knowledge and compassion.
Opportunities for Student Involvement
Diversity Inclusion and Accessibility (DIA)
DIA is an inclusive campus club dedicated to supporting students with disabilities, as well as those who love or are friends with individuals with disabilities. It also serves as a community for those pursuing careers in fields such as government, education, therapy, psychology, social work, healthcare, and more!
Requirements:
- Open to all students, regardless of disability status and GPA.
