Project PROMESAS has a number of paid student positions each year, including Student Assistant and Instructional Student Assistant positions. STEM Tutors provide tutoring at the STEM Center for STEM courses offered at CI. This position requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. In order to be eligible a student must also be:
- An undergraduate student
- Enrolled in at least 6 units of coursework at CI
- A STEM major
- In good academic and behavioral standing (not on academic or disciplinary probation) with the university
Individual positions may have additional eligibility requirements. Also, due to federal funding, applicants for a student position with Project PROMESAS must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
